Site Foreman
Birch Mountain Enterprises (BME) is looking for an experienced Site Foreman. This is a permanent, full-time position based at Kearl site, working a 14 on, 14 off schedule, with 11.5 hour days and nights.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Site Supervisor and operating from Kearl site, the Foreman is responsible to oversee and ensure that the direction of on-site personnel and equipment is carried out as directed to meet the requirements of our customers. The individual in this position must be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strong field leadership to employees.
- Coordinating personnel and equipment.
- Assist in the leadership of personnel.
- Promoting a safe work environment through implementation of safe work procedures with HSE team.
- Ensure collection and delivery of monthly water samples are completed.
- Assist with the development of personnel scheduling.
- Direct daily activities of the front-line employees to ensure all BME and client policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- General and site inspections.
- Complete Drive along with the employees.
- Inspection of units daily to ensure they are ready for the following day.
- Identifying deficiencies and correcting them.
- Determine disciplinary actions and work with Supervision, Management and HR to follow proper process.
- Review employees required documentation (JSA, FLRA, Pre/Post Trip, Near Miss, HID, BBO and timecards).
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of all assigned equipment.
- Meet company set key performance indicator’s (KPI’s)
- Follow BME procedures, policies, practices, and review with employees during daily toolbox talks or safety meetings.
- Ensure that all training is kept current for yourself and your team.
- Prepare, plan and conduct daily toolbox talks with relevant topics.
- Assess hazards in the field and correct in a timely manner.
- Maintain the PPE and its usage with employees.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain company vehicle as required – fuel, oil changes etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Possess valid driver's license (minimum class 3) with clean abstract.
- OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS Certification.
- Minimum 1 year previous supervisory experience.
- Previous experience working with Water and Vac Trucks as well as Steaming and Washbays.
- NCSO Designation or working towards.
- Above average troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Excellent customer relations.
- Interpersonal skills, facilitation, and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills (i.e. outlook, excel, SharePoint, etc.).
- Ensure to keep required training certificates and tickets up to date and active, including: Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Provincial Hours of Service, Daily Trip Inspections, Weights and Dimensions.
- Must successfully pass BME pre-employment evaluation, road test, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment screening.
